Pretty Toes Pedicure Pedestal

                                             Pedicures Made Easy

Put in sell sheet stuff

Every lady wants pretty toes and feet. But, they'd rather get it done comfortably and at their convenience. That's why Jeanette, my wife, and I came up with the idea for the Pedicure Pedestal.

For the last five years Jeanette's been using the prototype I made for her almost every week.
In that time we got it patented and are now working very hard to make it available to all the ladies who want their high heels and sandals to show off their pretty toes and heels.

I'd like to thank the Tampa Bay Innovation Center for a posting in their newsletter. They listed Shark Tank's casting call at the Fox Theater in Atlanta for Sunday,April 14th. I found out about the casting call on Tuesday and on Saturday I was on an 8 hr road trip. Jeanette would have gone too, but she was still sick from a cold she'd had for about a week.
It's just as well she didn't go. Hotlanta wasn't so hot! I got in line at 4 AM. It was cloudy, cold and windy: the temperature was in the 50's and the wind was blowing 20 to 25 mph. By 6 or 7 AM there were times I was shivering and my teeth were chattering. I walked around a lot to try to stay warm.

The weather hadn't changed by 11:30 when the Shark Tank staff started letting us in the theater.  There was about 150 people in line ahead of me. Some had been there since midnight! That's dedication and drive! After 7 AM Shark Tank hopefuls started pouring into the parking lot.
By 11:30 the crowd had reached ,at the very least, the allotted 500 inventors and their innovations.

After 7 1/2 hrs in line you get to talk to a few people and many offered their opinions on each other's inventions and ideas. It was reassuring to have so many women and guys show interest in my wife's invention. Three ladies who operate Heavenly Tresses & Faces in Chattanooga, TN showed enthusiasm for the Pedicure Pedestal. The Shark Tank staff were efficient and upbeat in handling the huge group. When I was interviewed, the guy questioning me immediately got the concept of the Pedestal ( some guys don't ). He asked pertinent questions about manufacturing and sales etc. and it was over, for now. They told us it could be 2 to 6 months before they contacted us, IF they were interested.

All in all it's been an adventure and an education about what goes into bringing a beauty product to market.
If you or someone you know does their own nails at home, this product is something you will want and will use all the time.
I hope you'll check out the Pedestal at PedicurePedestal.com

Happy Paintin',
Mark P.
